The enrichment layer of our curriculum provides our children with experiences that they may not have access to outside of school. We want all of our children to enrich their cultural capital and experience awe and wonder through different events and adventures.

A selection of the enrichment activities are pictured below.

Our award winning choir perform at a number of events throughout the year. The pictures below show the choir performing to hundreds of people at the Doncaster Dome.

Art Exhibition

All the children in school produced a piece of artwork in the style of a famous artist. The artwork was then displayed in the hall. Our parents/ carers and members of the community were invited to view the art at a special exhibition.

Forest School

Our trained practitioners deliver learner-led exploration and discovery with our pupils. Through a range of experiences they nurture meaningful experiences for positive lifelong impacts.

Community Projects

We encourage our pupils to take pride in their communities and we plan many events to support local community projects. These include the DN7 foodbank and the St Lawrence Church Uniform bank.

Children In Need

We raised over £2600 for Children In Need this year. The pupils wore spots, made a Pudsey out of spare change, entered raffles to win teddy bears and participated in a danceathon.

Classroom Kitchen Online

All pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 have six cooking lessons across the year. The sessions give them the opportunity to cook along with a professional chef, learn different cutting and chopping techniques and try a range of different healthy recipes.
